Long weekends in 2026
Because most Irish bank holidays are Mondays, they automatically give 3-day weekends:
- St Brigid's Day (Mon 2 Feb), Easter Monday (Mon 6 Apr), May (Mon 4 May), June (Mon 1 Jun), August (Mon 3 Aug) and October (Mon 26 Oct) bank holidays.
- St Patrick's Day (Tue 17 Mar) → take Monday off for a 4-day break.
